Front Page News — and an Official Milestone for Frostin Farms
Today marks a very special chapter in Frostin Farms’ story. We were featured on the front page of The Middletown Press. Also, on the very same day, we officially became a registered farm with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA).
We started this little farm with one big hope: that if we could grow enough fruit, we could help feed our neighbors during hard times. What began as a small backyard effort has blossomed into something far bigger than we imagined thanks to the kindness and encouragement of the Cromwell community.
The newspaper article shares the heart behind our mission: giving away fruit trees, berry bushes, and homegrown food to support the Cromwell Food Pantry and help neighbors grow a little extra for one another. It’s not just about farming, it’s about nurturing a spirit of generosity, one tree at a time.
To see that mission shared on the front page is an incredible honor. But even more exciting? With our new FSA registration, we’re officially recognized as a farm and ready to keep growing, giving, and gathering good things for our community.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve planted one of our berry plants, shared your harvest, or simply cheered us on from afar this celebration belongs to you too.
